40 minutes from Hita IC towards Kumamoto.

Bus access
[When coming from Fukuoka] Hita Station on the JR Kyudai Main Line, approximately 50 minutes by Hita Bus, alight at Tsuetate bus stop, which is very close.
[When coming from Kumamoto] Take the Kyushu Sanko Bus to Aso Station from JR Kumamoto Station for about 90 minutes, transfer at Aso Station for about 80 minutes and get off at Tsuetate bus stop.
