Through a small alley
A hot spring inn overlooking the town from a hill.
Fukumi Sanso
The Fukumi Sanso is located on a slightly elevated area that goes up the back alley of the Suedoya. It is a hot spring inn that has prospered with the prosperity of this town since the Showa era. As it stands on a hill, the view from the window overlooking the town is attractive. Above all, the room on the 3rd floor corner has a terrace and a miniature garden so that you can enjoy the view of the mountains and the four seasons. This is the most popular room. Actually, this room has a special glass toilet where you can see the view when you sit down. It is full of the owner’s playful spirit. The building, which retains the atmosphere of the Showa era, is also equipped with a table tennis table, which is essential for the onsen town.
Not to mention the indoor bath and steam bath, the most popular bath is the open-air bath “Manten no Yu”. It is located on a hill, so it is the most open structure of Tsuetate. There are maple trees and cherry blossoms right next to the open-air bath, and you can enjoy the hot spring while looking at the seasonal expression. A raccoon dog ornament looks at this open-air bath like a mascot. Maybe because of this ornament, sometimes real raccoon dogs come to play, and there is a lot of eyewitness information. The dishes are Japanese Kaiseki dishes with plenty of dishes such as horsemeat sashimi, chawanmushi, grilled dishes and nabe, and it is voluminous. “Horonigapurin by the proprietress of the mountain villa” made from hot spring steam is our signature dish.
