From Fukuoka, Fukuoka Airport, Saga and westward
- Take the Oita Expressway to Hita IC and then take Japan National Route 212 headed in the Aso direction (About 2 hours from Fukuoka).
From Oita/Yufuin
- Take the Oita Expressway, Kokonoe IC and head for Oguni on National Route 387 (About 30 minutes from Kokonoe IC)
