Even if the world changes,
the Falls, with their limpid waters, continue to welcome travelers.
Nabegataki Falls is said to have been created by the huge eruption about 90,000 years ago that created the Aso caldera.
The waterfall is about 10 meters high and 20 meters wide and the sight of the water falling like a wide curtain is very graceful and mysterious. Visitors can view the waterfall from the riverbank and feel the negative ions in a spot that is relaxing and soothing.
