There is also a steaming pot that uses steam from the hot spring.

Access: An hour by Sanko Bus bound for Tsuetate Onsen from Aso Station of JR Hohi Main Line.
Change to the Sanko Bus ""To Takenoyu"" at Yu Station and after 30 minutes get off at Nakao Entrance.
Take the Oita Expressway to Kusu IC and from there take Japan National Route 387. Take the local road for Takenoyu Onsen for 20 km.
