Kaneiishi Ryokan is located at the foot of Tsuetate-bashi. In the lobby you will find a wall-clock made in the USA, which is said to have been purchased at the time of establishment in 1930, and a wooden public telephone, which evoke the atmosphere of the good old days. In the lobby, there is a coffee corner where you can drink freely, and there are bookshelves lined with paperback books, and the homey hospitality is one of the attractions of this inn. There is a steam room in front of the inn, and raw eggs and vegetables are sold in the building. It is also recommended to experience the steam dishes unique to Tsuetate.

All 7 rooms face the river and all have a bath and toilet. It is a Japanese-style room with a calm atmosphere where you can relax while listening to the murmuring of Tsuetate-gawa River, and it is visited by a wide range of people from single travelers to group travelers.
The bath has a large indoor bath, an open-air bath and a steam bath, and the clear and smooth hot water is popular for its good texture. Many hot spring cure customers use it. They mainly serve hearty dishes made with seasonal ingredients. You can also enjoy an original aperitif made with plums and cherries harvested from directly managed farms. Cherry sake is popular among women and mamushi sake is popular among men, and there are many other varieties, from sweet fruit wine made with figs and kumquats to novelty goods such as matatabi and Korean ginseng.
